Bibliography Help

When creating a Bibliography there are a few important points that you should always remember, these include:
  1. Arranged alphabetically by the author's last name, the first name is only considered if there are multiple sources with the same last name. You may arrange the list by publication median, date, etc; however you should note the sorting type.
  2. Includes all required informaton (creators on this site ensure you enter all information)
  3. Alwawys give your bibliography a title, 'Works Cited' or 'Bibliography' are sufficient.

For an Essay, or informative text it is best to include multiple types of sources in your bibliography. The absolute minimum number of sources you should have is three; one print, one website, and one periodical. The more sources you include in your bibliography the more credence it will give to the arguments in your report.

When copying a sentence, phrase, or paragraph from a source be sure to include a footnote or abbreviated source next to the quote as well as a citation in your bibliography. ALL words that are not your own must be placed in quotation marks to avoid allegations of plagiarism.
